As a self-proclaimed makeup addict, I LOVE lipstick. There's just something about putting on a great lip color on that makes me feel empowered and beautiful! Although I love wearing a bold red or a deep purple, I am always in need of nude shades to wear to work, presentations, and networking events. They are definitely the most versatile shades in my collection, and I find myself gravitating towards them even when I'm getting ready for a non-professional event.
After a year-long search of the perfect nude lipstick, I have not yet found one that I can call my "holy grail", but these come pretty close. These are my favorite nudes (both shade & formula), and they are perfect for any occasion, from Girls' Night to a day at work!
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow N Arrow ($20)
This liquid lip is absolutely perfect for interviews, because it's super comfortable and guaranteed to last forever (tested & approved!!). It's my go-to when I know I need to look polished for a long period of time, and I know I'll be reaching for this shade for many years to come.
Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lip - Wild Nothing ($6)
Wild Nothing is a perfect deep shade for the fall/winter. I am in LOVE with this lipstick, which is why I'm super bummed that CP is discontinuing it as part of their holiday collection. It's currently sold out, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. (@Colourpop, if you hear me, PLEASE bring it back!) *note - ColourPop actually brought it back in multiple forms as a permanent part of their collection!*
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color - Nude Nuance ($5-$8)
This lip color was my first true love! It's my fail-safe warm nude - it goes with any eye look, and is so comfortable & easy to apply.
Buxom Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick - Sinful Cinnamon ($22)
I discovered this lipstick through a sample size in a gift set I received for Christmas, and I definitely see a full-sized purchase in my near future. It adds the perfect touch of color, and feels so comfy on the lips.

Colourpop Lippie Stix - Aquarius ($5)
If matte isn't your thing, Aquarius is perfect for you. One of Colourpop's creme finishes, it gives your lips the prettiest pinky-brown sheen & is incredibly moisturizing. BONUS: it's a KathleenLights collab (one of my fav YouTubers of all time) and it smells like vanilla cupcakes!
Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip - WeHo ($6)
Okay, so I may have a slight [huge] obsession with ColourPop, but can you blame me?! They boast a wide variety of shades, and their lip products are all $6 or less! I'm obsessed with this formula, and this color is the perfect way to make your neutral look a little more feminine. It's super pigmented for a gloss, isn't sticky at all, and is the perfect no-fuss lip color. I carry this with me everywhere!
